Mother's Day Gift

I've been busy making these cute Mother's Day gifts for my club girls, sisters, daughter-in-laws, friends, and my very own Mother!  What fun it is to give little "I love yous" to the ones you love!

These are hand sanitizer holders.  Don't they make a cute presentation?

This is a side view.  The measurement is a 2-1/4"x12" strip and scored at 1/2",1-3/4",3-14/16", 4-13/16",
7-7/16", 8-7/16", and 9-7/16 (these score lines may need to be adjusted to the bottle purchased).  It has a velcro closure.

This is a close up view.  The holder is decorated with Fun Flower die cut with brad center.

If you would like to order any of the supplies to make these cute holders, visit my on-line shop at http://www.jhogan.stampinup.net/ or E-mail me directly at gram0210@sbcglobal.net.  Thanks for dropping by and please leave a comment to tell me what you think.

Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers.

Sew Fun Class

I'm having such a good time with the fabric Stampin'Up! has introduced.  I recently held a Sew Fun class and we made sewing caddies.  It's amazing how many items you can put in these little caddies.  We used the Big Shot and Scallop Square die cut to cut out the squares.  The fabric choice was the Sweet Stitches Designer Fabric and accessorized with the Sweet Stitches Designer Big
Buttons.  There are so many possibilities creating with fabric.  We're already talking about having another class using the left over fabric to make a "little" jar pin cushion and filling the jar with the left over buttons!!!  I love when they come up with other reasons to get together.  Want to get together with us sometime?  Check out my calendar of events at my website for upcoming events http://www.jhogan.stampinup.net/ or E-mail me at gram0210@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by...leave a message!!!  Hugs and happy sewing

You Crack Me Up Favors

Thought you all would like to see the cute favors in their completed form!  Yes they are tagged, filled and ready to give away.  I can't wait to see their faces as I hand them out when they leave.  I love giving my "girls" little surprises...they are so encouraging, supportive, and inspirational.  Sorry the pics are so blurry but I'm still having to use my camera phone.

Easter Club Favors

Are these not the cutest treat boxes?  Thanks Becky Roberts for the inspiration.  Each club member will receive one this month as an Easter favor.  The girls are so supportive and I love to treat them occasionally with something special.  All I need to add is a little bow and tag on the top of the handle and candy eggs inside.   But I just couldn't wait for you all to see them when I finished late last night!!!  They looked so cute bunched together.  What did I use?  Items from the Stampin'Up! 2010/2100 Idea Book & Catalog
  • Big Shot (a must in your craft room #113439 p. 204) Box #2 die cut  #114518 p. 209
  • Card Stock color your choice
  • Window Sheets Medium #114323 p. 205
  • A Good Egg stamp set #114974 p. 48

Customer Thank-Yous

These are 3x3 Thank You cards I put in each customers' order bag this month.  I know it's hard to see the "Thank You" on the tag.  I love adding these special surprises in their bags!  The "Black Magic" technique was used in making these cards.  If you would like to learn new techniques, please check out my calendar of events at http://www.jhogan.stampinup.net/ and join the fun!  I am adding a "NEW STAMPERS CLASS" soon.  So if you want to learn how to stamp and make beautiful cards, E-mail me at gram0210@sbcglobal.net to get more information.

Valentine Cards for January Club

February is a popular month to send cards...yes, Valentine cards.  And here are three cards the January Bluebonnet Stampers will make during club week.  I'm sorry the pictures didn't turn out so well but I will keep trying as I'm learning to use my new camera.  It has a mind of it's own...sometimes they are good sometimes not so good!!!
Here they are all together!

This card was cased from a card I saw on Becky Robert's blog who borrowed it from Mary Brown.  I added my own twist.  I think the black really dressed it up.  You will have a chance to use the Taseful Trim Bigz XL Die #120893 on this card.

I call this one Dancing Hearts.  This card makes me smile!!  Hope you like it as much as I do.  I'm a sucker for polka dots and this card is full of 'em!!!

And of course as my club girls know this has been a favorite set of mine...Greeting Card Kids.  We have used it from fall to now.  But this is the last time for the season.  She has brought back so many memories of my Dick/Jane days.  Yes, now you know how old I am...teeheehee!!!  Creating cards with her was such fun.  The background uses the
Lots of Love letter press plate #120983 in the new Mini Occasions Catalog.  It's a great background for Valentine, Anniversay, Wedding, and Occasions cards.

I'm looking forward to teaching several techniques using these card layouts.  If you are in the Fort Worth area and would like to join us, please E-mail me for details.  There will also be an opportunity to view several samples using some of the new stamp sets and products found in the new Mini Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Catalog at my Open House.  Check out my January calendar of events at http://www.jhogan.stampinup.net/ for date and time.  Please feel free to E-mail me for futher details and information.

Next week I am going to show you what I did during our recent snow day!!!  And some of the things I found buried under lots of stuff!!!  Come back and CHECK IT OUT!!!

And please always feel free to post a comment...I'd love to hear from you.

January Filled with Love Offer

FILLED WITH LOVE BUNDLE

Click on the FILLED WITH LOVE icon (upper right hand corner) to see January bundle offer.  Don't delay ... offer closes Monday, January 24, 2011.  Please visit my online store at http://www.jhogan.stampinup.net/ to place your order.

After a wonderful Christmas break, I'm ready to get back to my somewhat structured life!!  I want to share one last Christmas picture.  These are some sport card notebooks I made for my "little" sport fans (ages 6,7,and 11).  It was such fun watching them put their cards in the pockets of their cover protectors.  I was shocked at how many players they recognized by name, stats, team, etc.  The letters were cut out using the Big Shot and Serif Essentials Alphabet #113464.  I used a retired stamp set Just Football to fill in the blank spaces.  They really turned out cute!

Did you notice the "brown paper packages" under the tree also???  Yes, it's the brown filler paper that comes inside the Stampin'Up! boxes!!!

Coming up are the January Clubs' projects...be on the look-out.  Be sure to check out the web site http://www.jhogan.stampinup.net/ for the calendar of events.
